Suburban Referral Partners (SRP) is an independent, professional networking group serving Chicago and suburbs, where local business owners and professionals meet regularly to share qualified referrals, exchange ideas, and strengthen trusted relationships. For more than 15 years, the core members of our group have helped each other grow their businesses—generating more than $300,000 annually in referred business between members.
Our mission is simple: to help each other succeed. By connecting with other professionals who share a commitment to excellence, integrity, and follow-through, you can expand your network, strengthen client relationships, and confidently refer your clients to other trusted experts.
SRP operates as a category-exclusive networking group—meaning there’s only one member per professional category. For example, one accountant, one restoration company, and one real estate agent. In addition, some fields are further divided into sub-categories, such as a real estate attorney and one that specializes in wills and estates. SRP will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your own field. This structure ensures there’s no internal competition—only collaboration.
Members meet weekly or bi-weekly through a combination of in-person meetings and virtual Zoom sessions. Meetings are structured yet friendly—typically including:
- A brief “commercial” presentation from each member
- One spotlight presentation highlighting a member’s business in depth
- Discussion of referral activity, announcements, and success stories
Membership Requirements
To maintain a strong, professional network, SRP members are expected to:
- Attend meetings on a regular basis (in person or online)
- Actively share referrals and business leads
- Provide high-quality service that reflects well on all members
- Abide by ethical business standards
